Businesses across the Shipley constituency interested in learning more about exporting in a post-Brexit world can have their questions answered by experts at an online parliamentary event.
Chaired by Shipley MP Philip Davies the event will see experienced exporters provide free advice on a range of topics including how to start exporting goods, expanding capacity, and accessing new markets. Government officials will also be on hand to deal with questions surrounded government supported schemes and the practicalities of the new rules following Britain’s exit from the European Union.
Mr Davies said: “I would encourage local businesses who have any questions or concerns about how to navigate into the export market to join this session where experts are on hand to offer practical advice and support.”
The event in July will run in conjunction with the Department for International Trade and is the second event hosted by Mr Davies this year. An in person event is expected to be held in Parliament later this year when the country fully reopens.
Mr Davies added: “The first event was a great success and businesses have told me it was beneficial to them so I hope more businesses will sign up and can benefit from this second session.”
The event will run on July 9 from 2pm to 3pm and businesses can sign up by visiting https://eu.eventscloud.com/website/3733/?&reference=mp. Attendees will be sent the link to log in at least 24 hours before the event goes live.
