Shipley MP Philip Davies visited The Yorkshire Clinic this week to hear of the excellent work being done both privately and for NHS patients.
Mr Davies met with Hospital Director Phil Bates and Head of Clinical Services Jan Matin and toured the facilities at the hospital based on Bradford Road, Bingley before being told of new services being offered to patients.
Mr Davies said: “I was delighted to be invited to look at the new facilities on offer and be shown around the hospital. I know from speaking to my constituents who have used the hospital both as an NHS patient and privately what excellent care they have received.”
The Yorkshire Clinic – as well as carrying out its regular private work has been helping the NHS in reducing waiting times post Covid and carried out vital cancer work during the pandemic.
Mr Bates said: “The Yorkshire Clinic team were delighted to welcome Philip Davies MP to visit The Yorkshire Clinic this week. We shared news of the work ongoing at the hospital to develop private services with a new focus on Spinal Surgery coming in the next month.
“The hospital outlined the work that was going in to recruiting new team members and developing and training home grown staff to the busy practice, as well as how the hospital supports NHS Trusts locally.”
