Shipley MP Philip Davies visited Bradford Grammar School and took part in a debate with Calderdale Labour Councillor Scott Patient.
The politics A Level students asked them both a variety of questions on subjects such as Northern Powerhouse Rail, HS2, train strikes, the NHS, education and transgender rights.
Mr Davies said: “I always enjoy going into schools and debating with students. The pupils at Bradford Grammar School asked some brilliant questions about local and national politics. It is so important that students across the country can debate freely, and this session certainly allowed for a freedom to voice a range of opinions. I want to say a massive thank you to all the staff and students at Bradford Grammar School for inviting me to the debate, and I am looking forward to taking part again in the future”.
