On Monday Philip Davies MP was joined by his constituents from Menston at the Kirklands Centre for one of his regular question and answer sessions. Contributions were heard from constituents on a range of issues including the impact of housing development on the village, river pollution, public sector workers pay, HS2 and Northern Powerhouse Rail and assisted dying. All those who attended were invited at random from the Menston polling district.
Mr Davies said: “I am extremely grateful to all those who attended and to the Kirklands Centre for accommodating us. I always enjoy hearing the views of my constituents and debating with them on a range of local and national issues. We had a very lively debate. It was very helpful for me to find out the issues my constituents in Menston are most concerned about, and I hope everyone who attended found it useful too.
Mr Davies will continue to hold regular question and answer sessions throughout the Shipley constituency.
