On 19 October 2007 the United Kingdom entered into the Lisbon Treaty, which reforms the European Union.
The British people had been promised a referendum on the previous inception of the Lisbon Treaty, which was known as the EU Constitution, but due to its failure to pass in France and the Netherlands, that referendum giving the people their say on the future of the UK was denied.
Philip believes that the people have the right and there is a moral duty on the part of the Government to give the people a referendum.
Shadow Foreign and Commonwealth Secretary of State the Rt. Hon. William Hague said, "…absolutely no democratic mandate to agree to this treaty. It is not just his decision; the final say must belong to the British people,"
But Europe Minister Jim Murphy said: "The reform treaty is significantly different to the old constitutional treaty in intent, form and substance."

            EU
A United States of Europe was not what the people of Great Britain signed up to in 1975. We must be governed from Westminster NOT Brussels.
Philip was the first MP to call for a complete withdrawal from the European Union at the 2005 Conservative Conference.

            Sex Education
Sex Education is Something for Parents to Discuss Not Schools - With the highest abortion rate in Europe, sex education in schools is clearly not working.
